Ikan Masak Tiga Rasa



Ikan oooh Ikan let's try Ikan masak 3 Rasa ...yummyy



Ingredients:
1 whole fish - (can be steamed or fried)
100 ml of water - can add water if you want more sauce (if the fish is steamed)
2 tbsp oil - for frying
Salt to taste

Chopped ingredients/Bahan Cincang:
5 small onions / 1 Big onion
3 cloves of garlic
3 cm ginger
2 red chillies

Sliced ingredients / Bahan Hiris:
Half the ginger flowers /Bunga Kantan – I replaced with 2 lemongrass
2 lime leaves (Daun limau purut)
4-5 chilli padi

Sauce Ingredients:
2 tbsp chilli paste
1 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp plum sauce – can replace with fish sauce / oyster sauce
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp lime juice / lemon
1 sk sweet soy sauce

How to do : )
Prepare a steamer. If steamed, fish Marinate fish with salt and leave for 10 minutes. Place fish on a plate that pour a little oil and water. Steam until the fish is cooked.
Or if fried, smear with turmeric and salt fried crisp.

Meanwhile, in another pan, heat the oil. Saute the chopped ingredients for 1 minute.

Add chili paste and fry until the chili is quite ripe before putting other sauce ingredients in a bowl that has been consolidated. Stir evenly.

Once boiling, add ingredients slices, fish steamer water (I just use the Fish tube water) and salt to taste.

Cook until the sauce thicken slightly and pour over the fish that have been steamed or fried.


Ready to be served with hot white rice.
